At halftime of the Maryland vs. Wake Forest football game on October 6, 2012, Maryland student-athletes were recognized for their achievements in the classroom. A total of 392 Terps were honored for having a 3.0 GPA or higher for the Fall 2011 and/or Spring 2012 academic semesters.
Maryland student-athletes were congratulated on the field for their excellent work in the classroom by President Wallace Loh, Athletic Director Kevin Anderson, Faculty Representative Nick Hadley and Associate Athletics Director/Director Academic Support & Career Development Chris Uchacz.
Members of the Terrapin Club directly impact this student-athlete achievement by providing support for Maryland student-athlete tuition, room & board, books and academic support, while also providing the opportunity for Maryland student-athletes to compete at the highest level of athletic competition.
